- Buy a compost bin.
- Better yet, build one out of recycled materials like wooden pallets.
- You can even make a compost heap, not using a bin at all, if you have the room.
- Compost all your kitchen vegetable and fruit scraps.
- Compost your hair, your pet's hair, and most of what you vacuum.
- Compost happens -- it doesn't have to be work. All that fussing just makes compost happen quicker.
- For the adventurous, worm composting.
- For the truly adventurous, toilet composting.
